ADOPT-A-BEACH PROGRAM

BMIC Biological Services coordinates a trash pick-up program much like adopt-a-highway. The Adopt-a-Beach volunteers have committed to regularly cleaning up trash that washes up on Bay Mills beaches. These folks have taken time out of their summer on numerous occasions to pick up trash on the shore. Commonly found trash includes beverage containers, cigarette butts, plastic bags, and fireworks. Last year over 20 large bags of garbage were picked-up by these volunteers. If you visit our beautiful beaches, please remember to pack it in and pack it out. To learn more program or how to help, contact Bay Mills Biological Services.
